Javeria Saleem

Javeria Saleem is an acclaimed Naat Khawan from Pakistan. She has been reciting naats for more than a decade and is one of the most popular female Naat Khawans in Pakistan. Javeria Saleem was born in Lahore, Pakistan in 1983. Her father, Saleem Ahmed, was a religious scholar and her mother, Tahira Saleem, was a housewife. She has two siblings, a younger brother and an older sister. Javeria Saleem started reciting Naats when she was only 9 years old. She was inspired by her father, who was a great devotee of Allah and His Prophet Muhammed (P.B.U.H). She was trained in the traditional style of Naat recitation and learnt the art of reciting the holy verses with devotion and emotion. Javeria Saleem has recited Naats in numerous programmes and events all over Pakistan, as well as in the UAE and India. She has been felicitated with awards and accolades for her contribution to the field. She has also released several albums, and her work has been widely appreciated.
